  • Google Us...

The women in the communities we serve have benefited from our connection as Grow with Google partners. Through one-on-one intervention and group activities, we've consulted women as they learn and develop digital skills to make their businesses "Google-able" (that's a word, right?) One of our favorite activities is teaching them how to hire their older kids to work in the business, giving them and their teenaged kids what they need to learn digital marketing trends to help grow their customer base. Well, we'll have even more to show them in 2023. • About Us

TL;DR The Infinity Initiative launched its first program in 2006 because we believe women with personalized foundations for success can thrive in any environment. We don't want to have to do what we do and we're actively working toward being unnecessary; but, until then... Mission The Infinity Initiative co-labors with women of color to create transformative wealth solutions through upskilling, small business development and philanthropy. Vision We see a world where we're unnecessary because all women and their children have greater quality of life and are actively reaching their definitions of success. Values Honor: it's what we do here--always, in all ways we honor every person and their experiences. Intentionality: we give women what they actually need, not just what we want them to have.

  • Leading Well

We don't take the work we do lightly. We're directly impacting lives--that's why it matters that we have the right leaders, capable mentors and committed volunteers. Meet our Board of Directors. Sheryl Landry, JD: Founder & President Sheryl is a wife and homeschooling mom who at home and in leadership refuses to believe in the possibility of impossible--visionaries are like that. As leader of The Infinity Initiative, people often find Sheryl at the organization's events and programs doing "all the things"--dubbing her the "Chief Etc. Officer". Her life's mission is simple: she's a paradigm shifter who helps women unlearn destructive patterns. Sheryl believes every woman is equipped with everything she needs to do everything she should while she's on the earth. Kawana Davis, MSM: Resident Serial Entrepreneur & Board Treasurer It's no wonder we have a passion for seeing young women launch exciting new things--the person who oversees our finances makes a point of starting something small and turning it into something amazing. Kawana is a wife and mother who has a knack for consulting and administrating businesses in ways that help them grow their profits. She's the owner of e-commerce and service-based businesses and has been an invaluable asset to The Infinity Initiative since 2010 as Board Secretary. Janet "Coach Jay" Tackno: A Blossoming Leader Jay joined the team in the Summer of 2022 as we were planning our 2023 relaunch. She's a wife and mother who has a gentleness that's rare to find these days. As a certified life coach, she's kind and tough all at the same time--she'll pull greatness out of you while reminding you that you're capable of doing hard things. Jay is a small business owner and future nonprofit leader; we're delighted to have her as a board member and excited to see the leadership she brings to our ad hoc committees. Velma Thomas: The "Beauty Queen" & Board Secretary Velma is a down to earth wife and mother who has decades of success in the beauty industry as a salon owner, product developer and consultant to six-figure stylists across the southern U.S. We're all the better since having Velma's organization skills and business development acumen.
